At Central Pet, the safety of your pet always comes first! In order to provide a safe and healthy environment for all of our guests, we require that all dogs and cats provide proof of current vaccinations. For our canine guests, this includes Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella, and Rabies. For our feline guests, we require FVRCP and Rabies. Do you have a young puppy or a pet who is medically unable to receive vaccinations? No problem! We accept puppies after 9 weeks of age who have received the first 2 of their Distemper/Parvo vaccinations. We do require that they finish all future vaccinations on schedule and that proof of these vaccinations is provided to Central Pet. For our guests who are medically unable to receive vaccination, we do accept Titers with the understanding that they must be renewed annually.
We will accept certain canine vaccinations done by the owner as long as BOTH the empty vaccination package and purchase receipt are provided as proof of purchase and administration. Pet passports or handwritten records without vaccination vial stickers and receipts are unacceptable as documentation. Central Pet LLC has the right to not accept vaccinations done by the owner if there are any discrepancies and lack of proof of administration.

While Central Pet operates 365 days a year to provide consistent, quality care to our guests, we are closed to the public for certain holidays. Check out our holiday closures on our Location page!
Staff members will still be present at the facility for days mentioned as closed. We are not open for calls, tours, drop-offs, or pick-ups. All pets will be continued to be cared for during our closed dates.
Effective April 2023, we started collecting 50% at the time of check-in for all boarding clients.
Boarding reservations made over a holiday require a 50% deposit as we reach full capacity during these times. That 50% is refundable should you have to cancel and if the cancellation is made at least 2 weeks (14 calendar days) prior to the scheduled date of check-in. If the reservation is canceled within this 2-week window, then the deposit is forfeited.
We know that life doesn't always go as planned!
We do ask that cancellations be made 48-72 hours prior to reservation.
Absolutely! We do advise you to try and call prior to coming in to ensure we have the staff to take you around. We ask that you leave your pets at home for the tour.
We're happy to accommodate this request. We will need the name and phone number of the person that will be handling your pet. Pets picked up by someone other than the owner we have on file must have their account paid in full prior to departing the facility. We also ask that your friend or family member provide their ID at pick-up to ensure that we are releasing your pet to the correct person. Pick-ups are not allowed on Sundays.
